Type species: Adelaidena regina Distant, 1910 by monotypy. Number of Australian species: One. Extralimital Distribution: No. Australian Distribution: Northern Territory. Biology: Unknown. Host(s): Unknown. Diagnosis: Colour Dorsally ochre-brown mottled with black spots or punctations. Ventrally pale ochre over the surface of the thorax and abdomen, tending to brown laterally on the abdomen. Legs ventrally with plack puctations. Texture Sparingly punctate. Structure Body - Ovoid. Length 6 mm, width 4 mm. Head - Subtriangular to quadrate; labium elongate, reaching between middle and hind coxae; jugae truncate and broad apically; five antennal segments; first antennal segment shorter than distance between eyes; first labial segment long, longer than bucculae, reaches near posterior margin of head. Pronotum - Lateral margin demarcation explanate, shelf-like; posterior margin straight. Scutellum - Triangular, longer than wide. Hemelytra - Macropterous, wings just passing apex of abdomen. Legs - Femur moderately thickened, basal tarsomere much shorter than subsequent tarsomeres. Abdomen - Conexivia visible dorsally. Remarks: Almost nothing is known of this genus. The type is deposited in the British Museum.
